Working principle of weighing sensor

Jiuding weighbridge is a weighing device that uses the principle of force-electricity conversion to convert non-electrical gravity into electrical quantity. The key device to achieve this goal is the weighing sensor, which is located at the fulcrum of the weighing table and must have good mechanical properties such as stiffness, strength, and fatigue resistance.

There are four weighing sensors on one weighing platform of the weighbridge, one at each of the four corners, because the area of the weighbridge is relatively large. Its working principle is the working principle of the force sensor: it is composed of one or more elastic bodies that can deform after being subjected to force, and a bridge circuit (such as a Wheatstone bridge) composed of a resistance strain gauge that can sense this deformation, as well as an adhesive that can fix the resistance strain gauge on the elastic body and can conduct the strain, and a sealant that protects the electronic circuit.
Simply put, the strain gauge is attached to the elastic body. When the elastic body is deformed by force, the strain gauge is also deformed, and the resistance value of the strain gauge changes at the same time, to achieve the purpose of measurement.
